My Caterpillars

As I drove my 6 year old to a dentist appt. today I could tell she was a little fearful of what was coming. We were listening to her CD that we made recently and Miley Cyrus's song "Butterfly Fly Away" came on. We cranked up the volume and mumbled along as well as we could. I love the words. It brought me back to my childhood and the feelings of fear and anxiety that often accompanied me as I tried but failed to fall asleep at night. I thought about how my mother would always calm me down and help me rationalize my fears away. I thought about how I, as a mother now, am at my worst at night when my kids won't go to bed and I am spent. I felt sad that I'm not more like my mother who brought peace rather than anger when I took up more of her evening than she had planned. I want my kids to have fond memories of me like I have of my mother. I need to think of my 4 little caterpillars as future butterflies.

Caterpillar in the tree, how you wonder who you'll be.
Can't go far but you can always dream.
Wish you may and wish you might,
Don't you worry...hold on tight.
Promise you that there will come a day.
Butterfly, fly away.
Got your wings now you can't stay,
Take those dreams and make them all come true.
Butterfly, fly away.
You've been waiting for this day,
All along you've known just what to do,
Butterfly, butterfly, butterfly, fly away!

your post from yesterday included a picture of a pattern for girls' tunics. I tried searching for the pattern and having trouble locating it. Can you forward any info you have about how to purchase that pattern?

Thanks!
