Pony Skin

I'm excited for this new fabric in my shop!

So I went into the little cafe outside of Nordstrom yesterday for a little refreshing and ended up buying a cup of fruit that was way over-priced but so much fun to eat. When I am feeling ambitous I cut and wash all the fruit in my fridge and put it into baggies hoping my kids will see it's an easy delightful choice for a snack. I like Nordie's idea better, so I copied. Hope my kids will eat it now.

I just wish costco carried a mini version of this cup, like the size of a kid's meal frosty. Wouldn't that be perfect!?

Rain, Rain, Go Away!

And please don't come back for a very long time. My soul needs some sunshine.

Shopping Trip!

I so want to go! When I was a little girl we lived in Korea for a year. You could walk into a luggage or jean shop, pick out what you want, then head to the label wall and pick out which brand you wanted sewn on. I'm sure China would be so fun!

If I Figure Out...

How to copy this pattern I will let you know. I am loving linen on my little girls this summer.
Sorry no picture, it's copright protected.

Honey, when we get you a horse someday can we dress it like this?

These rosettes look fun.

A Little Ghetto, But at Least it's Done!

So the way I set this all up isn't the best, but it will have to work for now. In order to buy a nursing cover or car seat cover from my website, you have to link to my fabric site, choose your fabrics, then type them in on the website. It was just too hard to take pictures of all the choices, then keep those fabrics in stock. This way, you are linked to the most up-to-date fabric selection and I don't have to keep changing the pictures. If any of you are in need, don't forget about my Friends and Family Discount of 15% off (even things on sale). Just enter FF15 upon checkout. Thanks Celeste for modeling!

If There Were any Part of Me...

That could justify spending $350 on a handbag I would so buy this. But there's not. So I won't.
But I did try and sign up for a wholesale account with them just so I could buy it half off. No luck. They are really strick about their retailers and I guess lil 'ol Baby Bintz isn't cuttin it.

I'm Workin' on it!

Okay, so there are so many things that Baby Bintz makes and sells but aren't on the website. My friend told me that she just went to Disneyland and over the course of a week she had 5 people ask her where she got her Nursing Cover. She gave people my website, but what good is that? There aren't Nursing Covers on there! There are lots of reasons why things aren't on my website, but at the top of the list is time and inventory. I have to keep things in stock if I am going to list them and it takes a whole lot of time to take pictures, edit them and then list each item. So I have come up with one solution and am hoping it works. I am going to keep all my fabrics updated in one picture then use this instead of taking pictures of each item in each fabric. Hope it works! So once I get a few pictures of each item, I can list nursing covers, car seat covers, wipe cases, burp cloths, and scripture cases.

Who knew Anna Maria sold rugs? I want this one for my entry.

So,

the first week of summer went pretty well. We started our schoolwork & chore routine each morning (with a small incentive, of course). Thanks for all your tips! We played at the park, played with friends, made strawberry jam, had the cousins over (then they took my 2 girls for two days, what a deal!!!), slept in, went to a baseball game with the boys, and played in the neighbors pool. At one point I said I was ready for school to start again, but I think I will get used to it. We start camps and summer activities this week so that will help. I think kids need routine. All this free time drives them crazy!
